<br />B. FENCE POSTS SHALL BE SPACED 6-0" MAXIMUM UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED ON THE
<br />DRAWINGS.
<br />1. EXCAVATE HOLES FOR POST BASES IN FIRM UNDISTURBED OR COMPACTED SOIL.
<br />HOLES SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF 10" DIAMETER FOR LINE POSTS AND 12" DIAMETER FOR
<br />CORNER, GATE AND TERMINAL POSTS. EXCAVATE HOLE DEPTHS APPROXIMATELY 3" LOWER
<br />THAN POST BOTTOM, WITH BOTTOM OF POSTS SET NOT LESS THAN 3'-0" BELOW SURFACE

<br />B. WATER SHALL BE POTABLE, CLEAN AND FREE FROM IMPURITIES AFFECTING THE
