Attic Ventilation <br />Attic Ventilation to be in compliance with the Florida Building Code 5th Edition <br />(2014) Residential R806. <br />The Minimum net free ventilating area shall be 1/150 of the area of the vented <br />space. The ventilating area may be reduced to 1/300 provided that at least 40% <br />but no more than 50% of the required ventilation is provided in the upper portion of <br />the space to be ventilated.
