IN ALL AREAS WHERE DEMOLITION CAUSES AN <br />UNEVENNESS IN THE FLOOR, THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR <br />SHALL PATCH TO LEVEL THE FLOOR TO RECEIVE NEW <br />FLOOR FINISHES. PATCH SMOOTHLY. <br />2. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL AT ALL TIMES <br />PROTECT PROPERTY OF THE BUILDING OWNER, INCLUDING <br />BUT NOT LIMITED TO: WINDOWS, FLOOR AND CEILING TILE, <br />TOILETS, DOORS. FRAMES, ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT AND <br />HVAC EQUIPMENT. <br />3. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH A SYSTEM <br />OF TEMPORARY LIGHTS THROUGHOUT THE AREA OF WORK <br />AS REQUIRED. <br />4. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH ALL LABOR <br />AND MATERIALS AS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE DEMOLITION <br />AND REMOVAL OF ITEMS INDICATED ON DRAWINGS. <br />5. COORDINATE WITH OTHER DRAWINGS FOR INFORMATION <br />CONCERNING WORK TO EXISTING MECHANICAL AND <br />ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS. <br />6. SINCE IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO INDICATE ON DRAWINGS ALL <br />THE EXISTING WORK THAT IS TO BE REMOVED BY DOTTED <br />LINES AND NOTES, THE CONTRACTOR IS ADVISED TO <br />BECOME ACQUAINTED WITH THE ACTUAL CONDITIONS AT <br />LOCATIONS WHERE ALTERATIONS OCCUR AT THE EXISTING <br />BUILDING. THE DRAWINGS AND NOTES COVER WORK THAT <br />IS REQUIRED, IT IS THEREFORE ASSUMED THAT WHEN NEW <br />WORK IS INDICATED, THAT ALL SUCH EXISTING WORK SHALL <br />BE REMOVED, UNLESS NOTED AS EXISTING TO REMAIN. <br />VERIFY ALL SUCH CONDITIONS AT JOB SITE. <br />7. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE <br />ARCHITECT OF ALL CONDITIONS WHICH MAY INTERFERE <br />WITH OR OTHERWISE AFFECT OR PREVENT THE PROPER <br />EXECUTION OF THE WORK INDICATED BY THE DRAWINGS. <br />8. ALL WORK DEMOLISHED SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THE <br />PREMISES EXCEPT ITEMS TO BE REUSED OR STORED PER <br />BUILDING MANAGEMENT DIRECTION. <br />9. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL AT ALL TIMES PROVIDE <br />THE NECESSARY PROTECTION AND LIFE SAFETY AS <br />REQUIRED BY LOCAL, STATE AND FEDERAL AGENCIES <br />HAVING JURISDICTION DURING THE DEMOLITION AND NEW <br />CONSTRUCTION. PROTECTION SHALL INCLUDE SNORING, <br />TEMPORARY NAND is GUARD RAILINGS, TRENCH BRIDGING, <br />HARD HATS, PROPER CLOTHING, ETC. <br />10. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE ALL WALL <br />CONDUITS LEFT AFTER WALL DEMOLITION (NOT BEING <br />REUSED) INCLUDING SWITCH BOXES, PLATES, BRIDGES, OR <br />ALL OTHER ELECTRICAL/ TELEPHONE EQUIPMENT NOT BEING <br />REUSED. <br />11. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL CAP AND FLUSH OFF <br />BEHIND FINISHED SURFACES ALL PROJECTING PLUMBING, <br />FLOOR ELECTRICAL/ TELEPHONE ITEMS AND ALL OTHER <br />PROJECTED ITEMS WHICH ARE BEING ABANDONED. <br />12.
