The Controcoor shall obtain from the owner a copy of the Infection control risk assessment (/CRA) prepared for <br />this project. The contractor shall review the requirements In this report and preform all work In <br />accordance with those requirements. The contractor shall strictly adhere to the limits of the construction area, <br />and where phasing applies shall adhere to the phasing plan. Any work outside the construction are shall be <br />coordinated with the hospital and preformed in accordance with the /RCA report, under the supervision <br />of the hospital's representative or other designated /CRA commltee officer. <br />2. To the extent that It Is required by the iCRA the contractor shall endeavor to maintain existing levels of <br />Indoor air quality In areas surrounding and adjacent to the construction work zone, and elesewhere in the <br />facility. It should be anticipated that the ICRA report will require measures to this effect including erection <br />of construction zone barriers and provisions for negative air pressure In the construciion zone relative <br />to other areas of the new facility. Failure to comply with construction and maintainance of constuctlon barriers <br />will result In the cesation of work until the barriers are brought into compliance. <br />J.See Mechanical plans for additional comments on negative pressure and monitoring requirements. <br />4. Any requirement for interuptlon or shut down of utilities made necessary by this construction shall be <br />coordinated with the hospital at least one week prior to interuption. <br />5. Contractor shall endevor to minimize any disruption of surrounding areas of the hospital. <br />6. If fire olorm and / or sprinkler systems are shut down for four (4) hours or more, <br />contractor to provide 'Fire Watch'. <br />7.
