<br />1. Moor Assembly -lkn4-1/2 in. (114 fnm) thick reinforced lightweight or normal weight (100-150pef
<br />or 1600 - 2400 kg/m� concrete. Wall may also be constructed of any ULaassified Concrete Blocks*- Max
<br />diam of opening is 25-7/8 in. (657 mm).

<br />2. Through Penetrants - One metallic pipe, tubing or conduit to be installed either concentrically or
<br />eccentrically within the firestop system. The annular space between tube and periphery of opening shall be
<br />min 0 in.(point contact) to max 1-7/8 in. (48 mm). Penetrants to be rigidly supported on both sides of floor
<br />assembly. The following types and sizes of metallic pipes, tubing or conduit maybe used:
<br />A. Steel Pipe- Noin 24 in. (610 mm) diam (or smaller) Schedule 10 (or heavier) steel pipe.
<br />B. Iron Pipe - Nom 24 in. (610 mm) diam (or smaller) cast or ductile iron pipe.
<br />C. Conduit - Nom 6 in. (152 mm) diam (or smaller) rigid steel conduit
<br />D. Conduit - Norn 4 in. (102 mm) (or smaller) steel electrical metallic tubing.
<br />E. Copper Tubing - Nom 6 in. (152 mm) diam (or smaller) Type L (or heavier) copper
<br />tube.
<br />F. Copper Pipe - Norn 6 in. (152 mm) diam (or smaller) Regular (or heavier) copper pipe.
<br />3. Firestop System - The details of the firestop system shall be as follows: 3
<br />A- Packing Material - Min 3 in. (76 mm) thickness of min 4 pef (64 kg / in ) mineral wool
<br />batt insulation firmly packed into opening as a permanent form. Packing material to be
<br />recessed from top surface of floor to accommodate the required thickness offill material.
<br />B. Fill, Void or Cavity Materials"I - Sealant - Min 1/4 in. (6 mm) thickness of fill
<br />material applied within the annulus, flush with top surface of floor. Min 1/2 in. (13 mm) diant
<br />bead of caulk applied to the penetrant/concrete interface at the point contact location on the
<br />top surface of floor.

<br />1.01 FORM OF AGREEMENT: AIA DOCUMENT A101-2007, "STANDARD FORM OF
<br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN OWNER AND CONTRACTOR WHERE THE BASIS OF PAYMENT
<br />IS A STIPULATED SUM", WITH AIA DOCUMENT A201-2007 "GENERAL CONDITIONS OF

<br />ADMINISTRATION OF THE CONTRACT WILL BE BY THE OWNER.
<br />1.02 CONTRACT DOCUMENT AND FIELD CONDITION REVIEW: THE GENERAL
<br />CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPARE THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS WITH EACH OTHER
<br />AND THE FIELD CONDITIONS, AND REPORT ANY INCONSISTENCIES, ERRORS, OR
<br />OMISSIONS TO THE ARCHITECT BEFORE BEGINNING THE WORK. VERIFY
<br />DIMENSIONS AND FIELD CONDITIONS AND NOTIFY THE ARCHITECT OF ANY

<br />INSTALL: UNLESS OTHERWISE DEFINED IN GREATER DETAIL, PLACE AN ITEM IN
<br />THE PROJECT SO THAT IT IS READY FOR SERVICE OR USE.
<br />PROVIDE: UNLESS OTHERWISE DEFINED IN GREATER DETAIL, FURNISH AND

<br />1.04 SUBMITTALS: THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REVIEW EACH SUBMITTAL FOR
<br />CONFORMANCE WITH THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND COORDINATION WITH THE
<br />WORK, AND APPLY THE CONTRACTOR'S SIGNED REVIEW STAMP TO THE SUBMITTAL
<br />CERTIFYING COMPLIANCE WITH THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. SUBMITTALS
<br />WITHOUT THE CONTRACTOR'S REVIEW STAMP WILL BE RETURNED WITHOUT
<br />REVIEW. TRANSMIT ALL SUBMITTALS TO THE ARCHITECT. REVISE AND RESUBMIT
<br />SUBMITTALS AS REQUIRED. SCHEDULE SUBMITTALS TO AVOID DELAY IN THE
<br />PROGRESS OF THE WORK, ALLOWING 14 DAYS FROM ARCHITEC-rS RECEIPT FOR
<br />INITIAL SUBMITTAL REVIEW, AND 7 DAYS FOR SUBSEQUENT RESUBMITTAL
<br />REVIEWS. SUBMIT RELATED ITEMS AS A SINGLE PACKAGE.
<br />PRODUCT DATA: SUBMIT PDFs MARKED TO CLEARLY INDICATE APPLICABLE
<br />PRODUCTS, MODELS, OPTIONS, AND ANY DEVIATIONS FROM THE CONTRACT
