Opening width and height are correct for the product supplied. <br />2. Jambs are plumb and the floor and header are flat and level. <br />3. Headroom is adequate. <br />NOTE: To determine adequate headroom, measure the distance from the <br />bottom of the vertical angle to the centerline of the headplate <br />bearing. Add the radius of the cable drum. This sum must be less <br />than the calling height. <br />4. Spring and/or bearing support pads are flush with the jambs. <br />NOTE: When installing several clam of the some size and construction, <br />complete one door insiallliltion first to assure proper fit and <br />counterbalance. <br />BOTTOM SECTION ASSEM,BILY <br />1. To attacw struts: <br />1. Determine number of struts supplied with door. <br />2. Doors with odd number of sections receive struts on bottom, top and every other section. <br />Doors with even number of sections receive struts on bottom, first intermediate suction up <br />from bottom,top and every other section, See Figure 5.(Odd number of sections shown) <br />b <br />3. Locate all other struts in the center of the section except for the top section. <br />Locate strut for top section 7-1/2" below top of door except <br />when drawbar operator is being used. When'a drawer operator is requested, attach the reinforcing angle, if supplied; to the top <br />rail of the top section. <br />Attach angle using one 1/4"-20 self dolling screw at each stile and an additional self drilling <br />screw between each stile. See pg 10, Figure 17. <br />Brace door section in opening until end hinges or top fixtures and rollers are installed and <br />secured to door section. <br />2. Insert roller into end hinge on intermediate section. Hook roller into track and swing section into <br />place, Set section on top of lower section <br />3. Insert rollers into corresponding loose end hinge. Hook roller into track and swing and hinge <br />onto door section. See Figure 8. <br />CENTER <br />4. Secure and hinges to door section.
