TABLE OF CONTENTS <br />0001 10 <br />SECTION 08 33 13 - COILING COUNTER DOORS <br />PART 1 GENERAL <br />1.01 SECTION INCLUDES <br />A. Non -fire -rated coiling counter doors and operating hardware. <br />B. Fire -rated coiling counter doors and operating hardware. <br />C. Electric motor operation; wiring from electric circuit disconnect to <br />operator to control station. <br />1.02 SUBMITTALS <br />A. See Section 01 33 00 - Submittal Procedures. <br />B. Product Data: Submit manufacturer's standard literature showing <br />materials and details of construction and finish. Include data on electrical <br />operation. <br />C. Shop Drawings: Indicate rough and actual opening dimensions, <br />anchorage methods, hardware locations, and installation details. <br />D. Samples: Submit two slats, 4 inches long illustrating shape, color and finish <br />texture. <br />E. Manufacturer's Instructions: Indicate installation sequence and <br />installation, adjustment, and alignment procedures. <br />F. Operation and Maintenance Data: Indicate modes of operation, <br />lubrication requirements and frequency, and periodic adjustments <br />required. <br />G. Project Record Documents: Include as -built electrical diagrams for <br />electrical operation and connection to fire alarm system. <br />1.03 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Products Requiring Electrical Connection: Listed and classified by <br />Underwriters Laboratories Inc. as suitable for the purpose specified and <br />indicated. <br />B. Pre -Installation Conference: The Contractor shall hold a pre -installation <br />conference at the job site with all trades affected by the work of this <br />section, to include representatives from the manufacturer and installer, at <br />least two weeks prior to commencement of such work. The Contractor <br />shall advise the Architect and the Owner's Representative at least three <br />working days prior to the date of the meeting. The purpose of the meeting <br />is to ensure the following: <br />1. Clear understanding of drawings, specifications and approved <br />submittal data <br />2. Onsite inspection and acceptance of existing conditions <br />3. Means and methods of installation <br />4.
