First secure the reflector to the four wide rib brackets to the reflector with Y4" -20x2112" bolts. Repeat this procedure with the four narrow rib brackets using Y4" -20x1112" bolts. Please check the focal length measurement; and be sure the feed horn is centered and properly secured. IMPORTANT: To optimize the antenna's performance, it "is recommended that a bore sight tool be used to ensure that the feed horn is aimed directly at the center of the antenna. . "to. .p Chart 1 PROPER TIGHTENING PROCEDURE FOR MOUNTS THAT INCORPORATE THE PIPE CLAMP NOTE: Please refer to Figure 10 to identify the parts discussed. STEP 1 Insure that there are only three spacer washers at the lower clamp bolt. STEP 2 Tighten the lower clamp bolt enough to remove any excess play between the pipe clamp and the ground pole. STEP 3 Tighten the upper clamp bolt an equal amount. STEP 4 Tighten the set bolt enough to contact the pole. STEP 5 Track the system in the normal manner. STEP 6 Tighten the lower clamp bolt as tight as you can with a standard 3/4 inch wrench. STEP 7 Tighten the upper clamp bolt as tight as you can with a standard 3.4 inch wrench. STEP 8 Tighten the set bolt as tight as you can with the boxed end of a standard 3/4 inch wrench. After tracking is complete, make sure that all the fasteners are securely wrench-tightened.
