<br />GLAZING: All sash and picture window frames are glazed with <br />7/8 inch thick hermetically sealed insulated glass utilizing <br />two (2) 1/8 inch glass Lites and a 5/8 inch aluminum air <br />spacer. Insulated glass units over eighteen (18) square feet <br />in area are comprised of 3/16 inch plate glass Lites. The <br />chambered aluminum air spacer is filled with desiccant, a <br />molecular sieve which absorbs any moisture which may be <br />present during the hermetical sealing process. An extruded <br />marine grade flexible vinyl is wrapped around the insulated <br />glass units prior to glazing of the sash rails. All sash <br />frames are squared diagonally with the sash rails <br />straightened during assembly. <br /> <br />HARDWARE: All sash caps, tilt latches, finger tabs, <br />ventilation locks, balance carrier shoes, roller housings, <br />balance caps, and bushings are internally mounted and <br />comprised of moulded lexan vinyl. Dual sash locks and <br />keepers are comprised of die cast zinc with a powder coat <br />painted finish. Model #302 Double Hung sash pivot bars and <br />balancer coil springs are comprised of roll form tempered <br />stainless steel. Model #322-#332 Horizontal Slider rollers, <br />four (4) per sash are comprised of brass and mounted in a <br />moulded lexan vinyl housing. Sash hardware is fastened with <br />stainless steel screws penetrating through the extruded <br />aluminum "I" beam sash re-inforcement. <br /> <br />SCREENS: All screen frames are comprised of extruded <br />aluminum with a wall thickness of .050 inch, which has an <br />electrically applied and baked painted finish. Screen mesh <br />is comprised of 18 x 16 fiberglass woven charcoal mesh which <br />is fastened into the screen rails with an extruded vinyl <br />screen spline. Screen rails are weather stripped with .187 x <br />.250 inch woolpile. Screen handles are comprised of roll <br />form painted aluminum. <br />
