The nozzle is chrome plated. The nozzle assembly <br />contains a stainless steel strainer and retaining spring. <br /> <br />The nozzle tip is stamped with "DL" indicating this is a PIRANHA <br />Duct/Low Proximity nozzle. <br /> <br />Nozzle is shipped with a silicone rubber blow-off cap. <br /> <br />"DL" nozzles must be ordered as Nozzle Shipping Assembly, Part <br />No. 426092, which contains 25 nozzles. <br /> <br />Replacement blow-off caps, strainers and retaining springs are <br />available. <br /> <br />This nozzle is used for all duct protection and low proximity appli- <br />ance protection. <br /> <br />3/8 -18 NPT <br />FEMALE THREAD <br /> <br />/ <br /> <br />INTERNAL CUP <br />STRAINER <br />INSIDE <br /> <br />RECESS FOR <br />BLOW OFF <br />CAP LOOP <br /> <br /> <br />NOZZLE <br />STAMPING <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />FIGURE 11 <br />00169t <br /> <br />SWIVEL ADAPTOR <br /> <br />The Swivel Adaptor, Part No, 418569, consists of a swivel nut. <br />swivel body, and swivel ball. All are chrome-plated. The Swivel <br />Adaptor allows the nozzle to be rotated approximately 300 in all <br />directions. Swivel Adaptors must be ordered as a Swivel Adaptor <br />Shipping Assembly, Part No. 423572. which contains 25 Swivel <br />Adaptors. <br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />FIGURE 12 <br />0??oo, <br /> <br />RUBBER BLOW-OFF CAPS <br /> <br />The Rubber Blow-Off Cap, Part No, 77676, helps keep the orifice <br />of the nozzle free of grease or other substances that could inter- <br />fere with agent distribution. A retaining strap attaches the blow-off <br />cap to the nozzle. Rubber Blow-Off Caps must be ordered as a <br />Shipping Assembly. Part No. 77695, which contains 50 blow-off <br />caps, or Part No. 77411, which contains 12 blow-off caps. <br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />FIGURE 13 <br />0??oo9 <br /> <br />METAL BLOW-OFF CAP <br /> <br />Metal blow-off caps are available as options to the standard rub- <br />ber caps, The metal cap can be used in unusually high heat con- <br />ditions, generally over 400 OF (204 0c).
