<br />Operational Data <br /> <br />The D1256 and D1257 operate through the Serial Device <br />Interface buss of the controVcommunicators. The D1256 and <br />D1257 receive serial data and power through a four-wire cable. <br /> <br />Both devices continually show the status of the fire alarm <br />system. Changes in the normal panel condition such as alarm <br />or trouble events are displayed in alphanumeric English text <br />and the appropriate sounder response tone emitted. Each device shall have a 16 <br />character vacuum fluorescent display and show all fire system <br />events. Alarms shall be prioritized ahead of other system events <br />and displayed in sequence. The D1257 shall have no on <br />board system control function keys. <br /> <br />A built-in sounder shall indicate events with distinct tones for <br />fire alarm and system trouble. The D1256 and D1257 shall <br />connect to the fire controVcommunicator through a four-wire <br />cable. <br /> <br />The D1256 and 1257 shall be constructed of high impact red <br />plastic. The D1257 shall have the text "Fire Alarm Annunciator" <br />clearly printed in bold letters to the right of the event display. <br /> <br />The D9124, with the D9112LTB, D9112B1 and D7212B1, have <br />a 500 event non-volatile event memory log. The D9124 with <br />the D9112L TB-EX or D9412GL TB, 9000/7000 Series panels <br />have a 1000 event non-volatile memory log.
