<br />Board of Adjustment <br />Tuesday, August 10, 2004 <br />Page Two Continued <br /> <br />After brief discussion, motion was made by Gary Hatrick to approve <br />variance request. Seconded by Nell Petty and passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Item 3 - The Tourist Club of Zephyrhills, Inc. 5207 - 8th Street. <br />Variance request to cover remaining courts which includes <br />encroachment into front setback 30 feet and rear setback <br />approximately 10 feet. <br /> <br />Pete Romano spoke on behalf of the Tourist Club regarding their <br />variance request. After some discussion, motion was made by Nell <br />Petty to approve the request with conditions that the chainlink <br />fence would not extend out, nor the curtains, beyond their present <br />location. Seconded by Gary Hatrick and passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Item 4 - Joe & Sue Grogan, 5637 Cypress Street. Variance request to <br />install pool enclosure over existing pool with a four foot rear <br />setback and three foot side setback. <br /> <br />Rex Hawley, aluminum contractor, was present as a representative <br />for the Grogans. <br /> <br />Minutes of a variance request were submitted showing the Grogans <br />were approved on July 31, 1980, allowing them to install the pool. <br />Now they desire to have a screen enclosure installed over the <br />existing pool. <br /> <br />After brief discussion, motion was made by Nell Petty to approve <br />the variance request for the screen enclosure over the existing <br />pool and pool deck. Seconded by Gary Hatrick and passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned 4:40 p.m. <br />
