<br />Sliding Glass Door Installation:
<br />
<br />Installation fasteners for janlbs and
<br />header should be a minimum #10 x 11:" screw,
<br />Installation fasteners for the track should be a
<br />minimwn 11:" masonry screw, All fasteners should
<br />ha ve an embedment of at least J i", Fasteners
<br />should be located at a maximum of 4" from each
<br />comer and 18" D.C. for screws.
<br />It is recommended that all screws be
<br />sealed to prevent inli1tration of air and water,
<br />Product may be shimmed up to t" if necessary,
<br />
<br />Weatherproofing:
<br />
<br />Flexible tlashing should be installed in a
<br />weatherboard fashion, The top layer should overlay
<br />any layer beneath it. The weather resistant barrier
<br />should then eover the tlexible tlashing at the
<br />header.
<br />The application of the weather resistant
<br />banier will vary base<i on when it is installed, Ifit
<br />is installed after the door, it should be tucked under
<br />the sill flashing and overlap the janlbs and head
<br />!lashing.
