Our scope of services conducted during the investigation <br />is described below. <br /> <br />Scope of Work <br /> <br />The scope and methodology of this evaluation was based on our interpretation of <br />Florida Statute 627.707, and also generally follows the guidelines for conducting <br />ground subsidence evaluations outlined in the Florida Geological Survey Special <br />Publication No. 57 titled Geological and Geotechnical Investigation Procedures <br />for Evaluation of the Causes of Subsidence Damage in Florida. <br /> <br />. Conduct a site inspection to document and photograph the damage to the <br />building, and to interview the onsite representative. <br /> <br />. Review available published information pertaining to the site from sources <br />such as Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS), Southwest <br />Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD), Publication of Archival, <br />Library & Museum Materials (P ALMM), United States Geological Survey <br />(USGS) and the Pasco County Property Appraisers Office. <br /> <br />. Conduct a floor elevation survey to determine the relative elevation <br />differential that exists across the floor of the building and the apparent <br />amount of settlement, if any. <br /> <br />. Conduct a geophysical study of the property using ground penetrating <br />radar (GPR) to document the lateral continuity of subsurface strata and to <br />identify any anomalies if present. <br />
