My comments have been placed below. Please <br />contact me if you have any questions with regards to my comments. <br /> <br />1. Add additional emergency light in corridor entering handicapped restrooms. This <br />light can be back to back with light in women's restroom. <br />2. Add smoke detectors tied into fire alarm system in handicap restroom corridor <br />and corridor entering restrooms. <br />3. Add strobes tied into fire alarm system in all restrooms. Add audible devices <br />where necessary ( corridors). <br />4. Add exit light in conference room for direction of egress from conference room. <br />5. Add horn/strobe device in conference room tied into alarm system. <br />6. If there is a direct exit to outside from conference room, fire alarm pull station <br />required. <br />7. Certified fire extinguishers shall be properly located within 75' travel distance. <br />8. Sprinkler system, if applicable, shall have plans submitted for modification. <br />9. Fire alarm system addition requires permit and plans for scope of work, specs <br />details and battery cales. This is necessary to ensure devices are compatible with <br />current system. <br /> <br />Inspections required: <br /> <br />1. Building final. <br />2. Additional inspections will be required due to fire alarm and if necessary, the <br />sprinkler system. <br /> <br />Note: If no current sprinkler system, sprinkler system not required at this time <br />because remodeled area is less than the required percentage of an existing 5000 sq It <br />building. Additional future remodeling could require the building to retrofit for a <br />sprinkler system. <br />
