G310A -A <br /> Page 20 Revised February 20, 2007 <br /> TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE <br /> CAUTION: DURING CHECK OUT PROCEDURES MAKE SURE SAFETY PULL PIN IS INSTALLED. <br /> Main CPU Board (P/N G302) • Verify that the Interconnect cable wires to Main <br /> CPU control board are attached correctly on P1 <br /> Problem: Continuous Alarm terminal strip 5 (com) and 7 (N /O). <br /> Check the following: (See FIGURE 3) • Verify power is getting to stove by turning on <br /> burner. If, no power, disconnect electric shutoff <br /> • During test procedures, Push K1 on Main CPU to and plug stove directly into the wall. <br /> disable the alarm. <br /> • If power to the stove exists by plugging directly <br /> • Verify terminals are tight on P1 terminal strip. into the wall, replace electric shutoff. If no power <br /> exist to the stove, check site condition. <br /> • Sensor cable wires are not shorted or frayed. <br /> • For hardwired versions, have a certified <br /> • Open or bad connection to solenoid release electrician verify that the source power is <br /> valve. supplied to the same side of the contactor as the <br /> orange wires from the ESO printed circuit board. <br /> • Bad sensor - replace one sensor at a time. <br /> Problem: No Shutoff Activation using the <br /> Interconnect Cable <br /> Release Solenoid Latch <br /> • Perform Electric Shutoff Checkout procedures on <br /> Page 16 that are applicable to right configuration. <br /> Problem: No Activation of Latch <br /> • Confirm that power is supplied to the stove <br /> Check the following: (See FIGURE 3) through the electric shutoff. <br /> • Terminals are tight on Main CPU P1 -8 & 9. • Verify that the connector on the "interconnect <br /> cable" is plugged into the electric shutoff and that <br /> • Verify the red wire goes to P1 -8 and the black the other end of the interconnect cable is connect <br /> wire goes to P1 -9. to P1 -5 & 7 on the Main CPU board. <br /> • Use a Multi -meter to measure the DC Voltage • Short across the interconnect cable terminated <br /> signal on P1 -8 ( +) and P1 -9 ( -) during system on P1 -5 & 7 of the Main CPU board with a wire to <br /> checkout. If signal does not appear, replace complete the circuit in shut off. Activation should <br /> CPU board. If signal exists, perform next step. occur. If activation does NOT occur, replace the <br /> shutoff. <br /> • Disconnect wires from P1 -8 & P1 -9. Power ON light will be lit. <br /> • Perform Electric Shutoff Checkout procedures on <br /> Page 16 that are applicable to right configuration. <br />
