The frame contained four adjustable plastic glides, one at each end of the top <br /> and bottom rails. A fabric mesh was secured with a flexible spline. The vertical frame <br /> members contained a "U" shaped aluminum reinforcement (Reference Drawing No_ 18044). <br /> Installation: The units were installed in wood bucks constructed of Spruce -Pin -Fir <br /> construction lumber. The unit was fastened through the frame with nineteen #10 x 3" long <br /> screws. The head was fastened to the buck with three screws, one 6" from each end and one <br /> midspan. Each jamb was fastened to the buck with eight screws, four per track, located 6" <br /> from each end and spaced 22" on center. The head and sill were also fastened to the buck <br /> with two #10 x 3" long screws, one through each aluminum panel support at the end <br /> location nearest the meeting rails. The keeper was secured with three #10 x 3" long screws <br /> through the jamb and into the wood buck. The sill was embedded in silicone sealant. The <br /> interior and exterior perimeter of the frame was sealed to the wood buck with silicone <br /> sealant. <br />
