A minimum o� 10 pullout tests for areas up to 500 squares, thereafter 2 tests per 100 <br /> squares is considered suffiaent. Tests should be taken aPproximately 60% in perimeters <br /> and 40% from field areas. Additional tests shall be performed in areas where the integrity <br /> of the deck is questionable. A written report af pullout test results shaH be submitted to <br /> Mule-Hide's Customer Service Departrnent for review. <br /> F. Precautions shall be taken to p�event wind blaw-off or wind damage during the course of <br /> the rooFing application. This may necessitate additional securement of temporary <br /> construction, materiats and equipment. <br /> G. The contractor shall verify and ensure that all roof drain lines are unblocked before • <br /> starting v�ork. Any blockages found shall be reported to the owner's representative and <br /> Mule-Hide's Customer Service Department in writing. <br /> H. Temporary waterstops shall be installed at the end af each day's work. Temporary <br /> waterstops shall be removed at the start of the next day's work and disposed of properly. <br /> Waterstops shall be compatible with al1 materials. <br /> I. Do not install the Mule-Hide PVC Roofing Membrane in dired contad with any product <br /> containing asphalt, coal tar pitch, creosote or penta-based materisls. Consult the Mul� <br /> Hide Customer Service Department for special installation requirements. <br /> J. Do not allow contaminarrts such as petraleum, grease, acid, solvents, vegetable or <br /> rnineral oil, animal al, animal fat, etc. or dired steam venting to come into direct contact <br /> with the Mule-Hide PVC Roofing Membrane. Contact the Mule-Hide Customer Senrice <br /> Department for recommendations if such conditions exist. <br /> K. The contractor shall follow all safery regulations as recommended by OSHA. <br /> L. All work shall be scheduled and executed without exposing interior building areas to the <br /> effects of indement weather. The existing building and its contents shall be protected <br /> against all risks. <br /> M. Arrange work sequence to avoid use of newly constructed roofing for storage, walking <br /> surfaces and equipment movement. Contractor shall provide all necessary protection and <br /> barriers to segregate the wurk areas and prevent damage to adjaoent areas. ff excessive <br /> traffic over newly installed memlxane is necessary, contractor shaf{ provide plywood or <br /> polysster felt protedion to prevent damage. <br /> N• AI� existing �ng materiats to be remwed for construction shall be immediately <br /> remaved from the construction site to a dumping area authorized to receive such debris. <br /> My hazardous materials such as asbestos or materials containing asbestos �bers sha�� <br /> be removed and disposed of in accordance with applicable City, St�e and Federal <br /> requir�nents. <br /> O. Any unusual or concealed conditions discovered during the course of the v►rork are to be <br /> reported to the owner and Mul�Hide immediately in wriUng. Work is to be halted un61 the <br /> owner has responded with a solution to the problems. <br /> P. All loql building codes and requirements must be follawed where applicable. It is the <br /> r�ng contrac�or's sole responsibility to determine and ensure that the r�ng system <br /> seleded cpmplies with all local codes and requirements. <br /> Q. Both interior and exterior building areas affected by construdion shall be deaned up and <br /> any damaged areas shatl be repaired to the owner's satisfaction. <br /> 3 <br />
