Contract Provisions and Exclusions (con�) <br /> 6.13 Building Permit Exclusion - The cost of the building permit, if required, is not included in the proposed <br /> price as noted. Jurin Roofing Services, Inc. will pull the permit on behalf of the owner. The cost of <br /> the building permit plus a handling fee of 10%will be added to the cost of the project if a building <br /> permit is required. This will be handled as a change order. <br /> 6.14 Jurin Roofing Services, Inc. is not responsible for leakage through the existing roof or other portions of <br /> the building that have not yet been reroofed by Jurin Roofing Services, Inc. Jurin Roofing Services, <br /> Inc. is not responsible for damages or leaks due to existing conditions or existing sources of leakage <br /> simply because Jurin Roofing Services, Inc. started work on the building. <br /> Notes: Unless stated otherwise on the face of this proposal, Customer shall pay the contract price plus any <br /> additional charges for changed or extra work within ten(10) days of substantial completion of the <br /> Work. If completion of the Work extends beyond one month, Customer shall make monthly progress <br /> payments to the Contractor by or before the fifth(Sth) day of each month for the value of Work <br /> completed during the preceding month, plus the value of materials suitably store for the project. All <br /> sums not paid when due shall earn interest at the rate of 1 1/12 percent per month. Contractor shall be <br /> entitled to recover from Customer all costs of collection, including attorney's fees, resulting from <br /> Customer's failure to make proper payment when due. <br /> Statement of Quality- All material is guaranteed to be the same as specified. All work is done in <br /> accordance with accepted roofing practices as determined by the NRCA. All extra work will be done <br /> through change orders and will be an extra cost above and beyond the stated price. All agreements are <br /> contingent upon delays beyond our control. Owner to carry all necessary fire, tornado, and other <br /> insurance.
