, -� ARTICLE 7. -GENERAL RESPQNSIBILlTIES 4F TME CONTRAGTCIR: 7.1 The Contractor shall be l4censed ancf supervise and direct the work using his best skills artd attention. 7.2 The Contractor shall provide the wner and Community Development Division with evidence that he/she has secured a d paid far all licenses and permits necessary for the proper execution of the work; and, upon comp(etion of the job, shall provide evidence that all work has been inspected an� approved by the appropriate building inspectors. 7.3 The Contractor shali not employ o� the wark any unfit persan ar anyone not skiiled ar (icensed, if appropriate, in the task assTgned ta him. 7.4 The Contractor shall be respar►sibl for the acts and omissions of all his emplayees, and afi subcontractors, their agent and employees, and al! other persons perForming any of the wark. 7.5 The cantractor shall seek appro al from Community Development Division prior to substituting any materials or pro�ucts deemed "EquaP' to the specific materials or products listed in the mast recent �id Speci�cations or Work Write-Up, 7.6 The Contractor sha(1 not assign th s contract without written consent of the Owner and the Community Deveiopment Divi �on. Any request for assignment must be addressed � to the Community Deveiopment Di ision. 7.7 The Con#ractar at al) #imes shafl eep #he premises free from accumulatian of waste materials or rubbish caused by thi wark. 7.8 The Contractor sha!! permit the Community Development Division to examine and inspect the const�uction work und r this contract at any reasonable time. 7.9 The Contractor shall furnish the Owner and the Community Development Division with the names, addresses, and teleph�ne numbers of the firms to be contacted for service to the various appliances or other quipment that was installed or repaired under this � cantract. 4 7.10 The Contraetor shall indemnify and save harmless the County, its agents and empioyees, and the Owner fram li bility for any injury or damages ta persons or property resulting from the Gontractor's p osecution of work pursuant to the provisions af this contract. 7.11 The contractor sha4l be responsib'l� ta submit al! requests far payments, change orders, release of liens, subcontractor li�t, etc., on the most current forms obtained from the Gommunity Develapment Divisio �website far contractors. 7.12 All products and materials used i the rehabilitation of Community Development Divisian projects sha(1 be made by Ame�ican manufacturers, if available, and meet the latest energy and water conservatian r quirements.
