ARTtCLE 9. -GENERA� RESPC?NSIBlLlTIES OF THE CQMMUNlTY DEVEl.OPMENT DlV1SION: 9.1 The Community Development D vision shall provide general administration of the contract, but it is understood by all parties that the County is not a party to this Contract. 9.2 The Community Development Divi ion shall make frequent inspections of the work while it is in pragress to determine if it is proceeding in accordance with the contract docu- ments. 9.3 The Cammtanity Developmen# Divi ian shalf have the authority ta reject work which does not confarm to the cantract dacuments. ARTtCL.E 94. - GUNTRAGT DOGUMENTS: T is contract consists of the Bid Proposal, the Work Write-Up, including any drawings or plans, the General id Specifications, and any insurance policies speci�ed in Article 5 above. ARTICLE 11, - CHANGES IN THE WORK: Ex ept in an emergency endangering (ife or property, no change in the work sfiall be made by the Contractor unl ss he has received a prior written order signed by the Owner and au#harized representatives af the Commu i#y Development Divisian. The contract sum and the contract time may be changed oniy by Change Order. No e�ttra costs wil( be paid to the Contractor when he has negiected #o praperly evaluate the extent of the co structian work. Change orders need to be in line wi#h bidding amaunts or pricing. ' ARTlC�E 12. - GUARANTEES AND WARRA TtES: The Contra�#or shall guaran#ee to correct any work that fails to confarm #a tlie contract documents ' r�d shal! corre�t such defects due ta faulty materia(s, equipment, or workmanship which appear during the p ogress of the work or within a period of one year from the da#e af f:nal inspectian and acceptance or such la ger periods of time as may be specified by law or by terms of any special guarantess required by the contract documents. The provisions of this Article app(y to work done by subcontractors as well as work done �y the Contracfor. Furth�rmore, the Contractor sha(( furnish the Owner, in care of the Community Devel pment Division, with ail manufacturers' and suppliers' written guarantees and warranties covering materiai and equipment fumished under the contract. These documents are to be neatiy arganized and bound in a �le type fofder and submitted with the finai pay request. (f a warranty item maifunctians or breaks, the Contrac or shail cantact the C3wner within 24 hours ta schedule the repair or replacement of the item.
