AF�TtCLE 13. - TERMINATION 4F Ct3NTRACT BY THE OWNER: If the Cantractor defaults or <br /> neglects to carry out the work in accordance with the car�tract documents or faiEs to perfarm any,provisions of <br /> the contract, the Community Development Division or th� �wner acting through the Gammuni#y Devebpment <br /> Division may, after seven (7} days' written notice, term nate #his contract and finish the work by whatever <br /> method he cteems expedient. If the unpaid balance of#�e contract sum exceeds the expense of finishing the <br /> work, such excess shaii be paid ta the Gontrac#or; but if such expense exceeds such unpaid balance, the <br /> Cantractor shall pay the difference to the Owner or the G�ommunity Development Divisian.
