<br /> DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION: PROVIDING FOR
<br /> THE REDEFINING OF BOUNDARY LINES OF SAID CITY

<br /> WHEREAS, Florida Statute 171. 044 does provide a pro-
<br /> cedure whereby all owners of real property being contiguous
<br /> to the corporate limits of the City of Zephyrhills , may be
<br /> annexed to said City, upon Petition of said Owners , and the
<br /> adoption of an Ordinance annexing same, and
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of Zephyrhills has annexed certain
<br /> lands located on the North side of said municipality, and
<br /> WHEREAS, ,a portion of Highway 54 and U.S. Highway 301
<br /> State Road 39 abutts said annexed property, and
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills
<br /> has deemed it to the best interest of said city that the
<br /> portions of said highways abutting the annexed lands also be
<br /> annexed within the corporate limits for jurisdictional pur-
<br /> poses, and
<br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation of the State
<br /> of Florida has given its consent to such annexation of road
<br /> right-of-ways, - ' '
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OFJ �
<br /> THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, as follows :
