<br /> (20) All work to be done in compliance with all O.S.H.A.safety standards and the subcontractor shall have their Materia]Safety Data Sheets
<br /> information on site prior to commencement of work and throughout their scope of work.
<br /> (21) If this contract is a unit price contract estimated quantities are based on take offs from plans. Payment will be made based on actual
<br /> .quantities installed and approved by C.W.Hayes Construction Company representative.
<br /> (22)Any materials,equipment or labor charged to the contractor's accounts when this subcontract includes such materials,equipment or labor
<br /> will be assessed a 12%mark up by contractor for processing which will be deducted from the subcontract amount.
<br /> (23)A qualified Subcontractor Superintendent must be on the jobsite at all times during the subcontractor's course of construction and during all
<br /> Subcontractor's inspections with Governing Authorities.
<br /> (24) Scope of Work includes,but not necessarily limited to:

<br /> B. Modify existing wet system to current codes
<br /> C. To include all required testing per city,state federal and local codes.
<br /> D. Coordinate approved layout with Superintendent,HVAC,Mechanical and Electrical trades to avoid conflict with structure and layout of each
<br /> trade.
<br /> E. Coordinate with Electrical trade for panel placement and needs.
<br /> F. Ensure that all pipe,sizing,fittings and valves are in good condition to install.
<br /> G Ensure that all pipes are reamed,valves are accessible and gravity slope to drain is provided.
<br /> H. Hangers will be proper type and size and spaced accordingly;meet all seismic loads.
<br /> I. No unscheduled cutting of structural members.
<br /> J Verify all test connections and low point plugs.
<br /> K. All penetrations needing fire caulk or sleeves are furnished and installed per code.
<br /> L. Verify heads are in accordance with NFPA. All heads must be new,unpainted and ensure proper temperature rated placement.
<br /> M. System must be installed to allow complete drainage of system.
<br /> N. Coordinate with the Superintendent drain locations;specifically where drainage will not stain concrete or paved areas.
<br /> O. Wet pipe systems will be tested at check alarm,check valve assembly conformance and water flow indicators for conformance with connection
<br /> diagram. Test water flow alann signal.
<br /> P. All final tests will be conducted after fire alarm panel is activated and in test mode with inspector,fire alarm subcontractor,electrician and fire
<br /> department,etc.
<br /> Q. Dry pipe systems check valve installation for conformance to connection diagram;verify all proper installation of air compressors and tanks as
<br /> provided. Observe test of alarm signal time etc.
<br /> R. Confirm all alarm devices have been provided and are operable.
<br /> S. Ensure fire alarm tie of system is complete.
<br /> T Verify system is completely cleaned,painted insulated,tested and approved as required.
<br /> U. Provide a mounted box of spare heads.
<br /> V. Confirm that expansion requirements are provided for if needed.
<br /> W. Ver�fy all system supports,anchorage,sway and seismic bracing is in accordance to NFPA,IBC and all other pertaining codes.
<br /> X. Provide a 3 ring binder with plastic sleeves,to include As-built drawing,sprinklers head specifications and sizes with marked locations and all
<br />' valve and gauge information for system to be left in fire sprinkler room.
<br /> Y. Provide As-built drawing to GC upon completion of project.
<br /> Z. All pipe fitting,reaming and turning will be done over areas of floor with heary covering to ensure no oils are leaked during fabrication.
<br /> AA. Furnish all equipment needed to install system correctly and safely.
<br /> AB. GC will provide adequate lay down yard. All materials stored will be covered as directed by subcontractor and kept in good fashion.
<br /> AC. Al(work will be completed and installed in a professional manner.
<br /> AD. Project will be run with job safety and job cleanliness in mind. Subcontractors will be required to ensure all normal job safety protocol is being
<br /> met.
