L <br /> Sec 713.13. <br /> 6. Contractor's duties and rights are as follows: <br /> a. Contractor shall be solely responsible for all construction under this contract, <br /> including the techniques, sequences, procedures, means, and coordination of all <br /> work. He shall supervise and direct the work to the best of his ability, giving all <br /> attention necessary for such proper supervision and direction. <br /> b. Contractor shall provide and pay for all labor, materials, and equipment, including <br /> tools, construction equipment, and machinery, utilities, and all other facilities and <br /> services necessary for the proper completion of the work of the project in accordance <br /> with Contract Documents. <br /> c. Contractor shall secure all licenses and permits necessary for the proper completion <br /> of the work,paying the fees therefore. <br /> d. Contractor shall comply with all laws and ordinances,as well as all rules,regulations <br /> or orders of public authorities relating to the performance of work. If anything set <br /> forth in any of the Contract Documents or specifications is at variance therewith, <br /> Contractor shall notify Owner promptly upon discovery of such variance. If <br /> conformity or correction of such variance results in any out-of-pocket expense to <br /> Contractor to complete the work, such expense shall be paid to Contractor plus fee as set <br /> forth in Section 2. <br /> e. Contractor shall be fully responsible for all acts or omissions of his employees on <br /> the project, his sub-contractors and their employees, and other persons doing work <br /> on the residence under any contract with him. <br /> f. Contractor agrees to keep in force at his own expense during the period of <br /> construction on the project such liability insurance as will protect him from claims, <br /> under workmen's compensation and other employee benefit laws, for bodily injury <br /> and death and for property damage that may arise out of work under this contract, <br /> whether directly or indirectly by the Contractor or directly or indirectly by a sub- <br /> contractor. The minimum liability limits of such insurance shall not be less than <br /> $500,000.00 covering bodily injury or death and not less than$300,000.00 covering <br /> property damage. Proof of such insurance shall be filed by Contractor with Owner <br /> within a reasonable time after execution of this contract. Contractor shall also be <br /> responsible for insuring that all sub-contractors have all appropriate workman's <br /> compensation and liability coverages. <br /> 7. The Contractor shall deliver a Certificate of Completion, Certificate of Occupancy, if <br /> applicable, and_final contractor's affidavit to the Owner and the Owner shall, within ten <br /> (10)days after receipt thereof,make final payment to the Contractor. <br /> 8. Contractor may,on five(5)days written notice to Owner,terminate this contract before the <br /> termination date hereof when for a period of ten(10) days after a progress payment is due <br /> or a payment is due as a result of a change order,through no fault of the Contractor, Owner <br /> fails to make payment. On such termination, Contractor may recover from Owner payment <br />
