2. Single phase motors shall be capacitor start, capacitor run. <br /> 2.2 EQUIPMENT POWER FACTOR <br /> A. Equipment requiring 1000 watts or more shall have a factor of 85% or greater at rated load <br /> conditions. Equipment with power factor less than 85% shall be corrected to at least 90% under <br /> full load operating conditions. Power factor corrective devices shall be switched with related <br /> equipment. <br /> PART 3- EXECUTION <br /> 3.1 CONTROL WIRING INSTALLATION <br /> A.
