Connect the wiring to the Terminal
Strip inside the alarm assembly. The wiring strip connections are color indicated, Install
the knockout'seal (included in hardware pkg.) in the top hole of the black alann cover.
The flex hose will need to loop down from the black alarm box 6" to allow for the
opening oithe door. This loop will keep the wires from pulling loose when the door is
opened. Once again, this is a closed loop system and the alann win sound immediately
when powered if any wires are pulled loose.

Take one of the Clamps and using the Self-Tapping Screws, attach the Flex Hose to the
doorjamb at the height of the black alarm box. The Control Box has two external mounting brackets
to fasten it to the wall. Mark the two holes from the mounting brackets located on the top
and bottom of the Control Box. Drill the two marked holes W' and insert two of the blue
anchors. Insert two 1" long screws through the mounting brackets and tighten. Secure
the Flex Hose to the wan as needed using the Cable Clamps.

6.

LATCHING PLUNGER INSTALLATION

Unlock and open the door. Open the door; check to make sure the pin marked the door. Remove the
Transfer Pin and save for the next installation.

Drill the marked spot with a W' pilot bit completely through the door, You will now use
the pilot hole and drill with a 3/8" bit through the door. Using the 3/8" bit, ream the hole
on the outside shell only. This is to allow the 3/8" Elevator Bolt to seat properly without
distorting the door. Place the Elevator Bolt, head outside. through the door. Place the
large flat washer over the threads of the Elevator Bolt then remove the Plunger from the
Latch Housing and screw it completely onto the Elevator Bolt. The smaller flat washer
may be needed iithe door has warped and is pulling away from the frame.
