<br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />alarm option which wiJI only be used if the 110 volts are NOT ran to a relay at the alarm <br />panel. <br /> <br />&. <br /> <br />OPERATION <br /> <br />Once the voltage is connected you are ready to check the operation of the TDL. Lock tbe <br />door, using the Positive Lock Panic Hardware and turn on the aIann switch inside the <br />black alarm cover. Once the power is on there win be a quick self check chirp and a <br />Green indicator light will be lit on the outQide of the Control Box. If the alarm sounds <br />immediately -look for a loose wire. If the green light is NOT on check to see that there <br />is power to the PC Board inside the control box. qtlte green light is on and the red <br />light is flashing tum tlte alarm back off and open tlte door, Adjust tile plunger at tlte <br />top of the door by loosening the SetScrew and tU1'1I the plunger * of (I turn, Sltut the <br />door and reset tile alarm to see if the red I;ght is sti/ljlashing. Contmue the <br />adjustment until the red light is no longer flaslt/llg then tighten the SetScrew back. <br />Turn the aIann back on. Depress the paddle on the Positive Lock. The lock win unlock <br />and the alarm will sound while a Red light on the outside of the Control Box flashes (the <br />red light should only flash while the alarm is sounding), The Time Delay Lock will be <br />energized and will hold the door locked for 15 seconds. Tum the alarm off and lock the <br />door again by pulling out on the Positive Lock paddle. Tum the alarm back on, This will <br />start a new cycle, The Green light on the Control Box Cover should be on, indicating <br />that the door is locked and armed. <br /> <br />If the red light is flashing on a pair of doors - turn offboth alarms, open both doors, pull <br />both paddles back out with the doors open, and turn on the right side alann. If the alarm <br />chirps and the red light flashes, adjust the plunger until the red light is no longer flashing. <br />If the red light did not flash after the chirp, shut the right door (the plunger is in the <br />correct position) and turn on the left side alarm. Once again, if the red light flashes, <br />adjust the plunger until the red light is no longer flashing.
