Included are a brief description of the methods to be utilized for removing the tank and safety <br /> and emergency procedures. <br /> • Remove two 10,000 - gallon (one gas, one diesel) USTs, dispenses and piping. USTs and piping <br /> are to be cleaned prior to removal. Manhole covers shall be removed and inside of the tanks <br /> shall be pressure washed and contents removed with a vac - truck. <br /> • After tank is cleaned the explosive vapors will be verified with a 4 gas /LEL meter. If above limits <br /> then tank will be de- gassed with an air - venturi. When the explosive vapor level fall below 10% of <br /> LEL (lower explosive limit) then excavation of the tanks will begin. <br /> • The tank will be excavated and processed for disposal at a scrap recycler. <br /> • Excavation will be backfilled and area re- surfaced with asphalt. <br /> • Environmental Closure Assessment will be performed by third party consultant hired by City of <br /> Zephyrhills. <br /> • In case of emergency 911 shall be dialed. <br /> Please contact the undersigned at (813) 909 -0040 with any questions you may have, or if TankTek can <br /> be of additional service. <br /> Respectfully Submitted, <br /> Enviro <br /> Josh N.
