Accurate record (as-built)drawings of�the complete installation to include, but not <br /> be limited to, the information required for the shop drawings <br /> 5 Record copy of the site-specific software programming. <br /> H Submit to the Engineer a copy of the transmittal to the Owner's Representative for all final <br /> complete project record documents <br /> I The owner's manual should include, but not be limited to, the following: <br /> 1 A detailed narrative description of the system inputs, evacuation signaling, <br /> ancillary functions, annunciation, intended sequence of operation, expansion <br /> capability, application considerations, and limitations. <br /> 2 Operator instructions for basic system operations, including alarm <br /> acknowledgement, system reset, interpretation of system output, operation of <br /> manual evacuation signaling and ancillary function controls <br /> 3 A detailed description of routine maintenance and testing as required and <br /> recommended and as would be provided under a maintenance contract, including <br /> testing and maintenance instructions for each type of device installed This <br /> information should include the following: <br /> a Listing of the individual system components that require periodic testing <br /> and maintenance. <br /> b. Step-by-step instructions detailing the requisite testing and maintenance <br /> procedures, and the intervals at which these procedures shall be <br /> performed, for each type of device installed <br /> c A schedule that correlates the testing and maintenance procedures in <br /> accordance with NFPA 72 requirements <br /> 4 Detailed troubleshooting instructions for each trouble condition generated from <br /> the monitored field wiring, including open, grounds, and loop failures. <br /> 5 A service directory, including a list of names and telephone numbers of those who <br /> provide service for the system. <br /> 1.09 WARRANTY <br /> A. Repair all defective workmanship or replace all defective materials for a period of one (1) <br /> year from the date of acceptance by the Owner's Representative. Workmanship or <br /> equipment found to be defective during that period shall be replaced at no additional cost <br /> to the Owner. <br /> B. The warranty or any part of the warranty shall not be made void by any required operation <br /> or inspection of the system after acceptance during the warranty period. The Owner may <br /> select qualified firms other than Warrantor to provide required tests and inspections <br /> System testing and inspections will be conducted only by a duly licensed company under <br /> contract with the Owner to perform scheduled testing and inspections as required by the <br /> AHJ.
